Tend to Tenderness

The Great Experiment that is The United States of America is founded on the concept that God runs things and that maybe we could stay open to God’s directives enough that we could govern ourselves.

Look at the Declaration of Independence and the Justification of the Genesis on Nature’s God.

Openness is vital.

Not only with regards to the interplay between God and People, it is also vital between the country’s people be they elected or general citizenry.

This is more vital than who gets elected and this comes from someone pulling very vigorously for Mitt Romney, Ovide Lomantagne, and Frank Guinta in our First District New Hampshire elections.

I have always enjoyed standing at the poling places as it gives an opportunity to talk with those on the opposing sides and learn more about them and illustrate that those on the “other side of the fence” are people too.

The United States of America has 4 words in the title and the first word is United.  It works when we are and doesn’t when we are not.  It is much more enjoyable this way too.

The best way I know of to get people more United is to have them go back into their core more.  To get into the roots of their being.  To get OnLine and OnVine with God.

God is the Great Harmonizer and Orchestrator and will make many things seem like happy coincidences when the reality is that we see acts of The Hand of God.

And in the book, Crossing the Threshold of Hope by Pope John Paul II, we see a wonderful address of the question of one God and a variety of understandings.

We are commanded to pray for our leaders, those in Authority in:

1 Timothy 2:1-2   My advice is that, first of all, there should be prayers offered for everyone – petitions, intercessions and thanksgiving – and especially for kings and others in authority,

I have prayed for Barack Obama and the other Democrats whom I oppose in my daily prayers for years.  We all must.

Romans 12 in it’s entirety is a Mission Statement that calls us to Love people we disagree with, are opposed to, and even those who get to the stage of being enemies.

A tremendously tough assignment.

We are to tend to tenderness.

We are to tend to tenderness so as to engender mutual growth and optimal co-operation of all of God’s Children in a synergetic manner working everything to it’s good.

Romans 8:28   We know that by turning everything to their good God co-operates with all those who love him …. .

So many Americans are crying out for co-operativity.

It starts with each of us tending towards tenderness as we at once advocate for what we hear as God’s will versus pursuing People’s wants which always leaves us wanting.

Then we can work together as one “whole” which is always “more” than the sum of the parts.

We can work together, smile together, achieve God’s Will, create bounteous surpluses from the bounteous bursting beauty that is this Gorgeous Earth, move from indebtedness to philanthropy, and have a lot more fun when we are OnLine and OnVine with our Shimmering, Sparkling, Loving, Full Contact, Full Bars, Creator.

Happy All Saints Day!  My favorite Holy Day and that which the Holy Eve of Halloween is the Eve of.

I Love You and so does Jesus, God, and The Holy Spirit as well as Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, all the Angels and All the Saints on this All Saints Day and all Days, all Times, all Locations, and all Situations whether you like it or not.  😉
