Started the day at 4:40 and met my son for Breakfast in Plymouth at 6:30 on my way to volunteering at Waterville Valley Adaptive.  He has just graduated from Plymouth State University in Communications and is currently working for Becket Family Services at the Rumney facility.  Before my volunteer time I took a clinic with the ski school and learned more about teaching skiing.  The lesson that I taught was broken up a bit with the student getting upset about falling.  So we played in the snow for a while and made snow angels.  Then we practiced falling down so falling down wasn’t so foreign, frightening, or bad.

At lunch consoled a friend who is having some challenges and then found that there was no lesson for me to teach in the afternoon.  I headed home to care for wife my dear who wasn’t feeling so well and got to go out and do some cross country skiing right out the back door in the beautiful conditions of powder at home.

Cooked a dinner of poached salmon, over sauteed onions, garlic, and broccoli and even got a positive nod on the cooking.  Spent some time looking at the Christmas Tree before and after dinner.  We have tons of ornaments from 31 years of marriage.  They act as a time machine for me.  Looking at it brings me back to all the various years from which the decorations come from be they bought or made.  Father Cole pointed out that the real Christmas Season starts on Christmas Eve and goes through the celebration of the Baptism of our Lord which this year is on 13 January 2013.  It is more than fine to keep on singing those Christmas Carols and enjoying the decorations.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a great 2013 Anno Domini!

I Love you and so does Jesus, God, and The Holy Spirit whether you like it or not and whether you know it or not.  😉
