In to Win

It is 3:33 am as I start writing this I notice.  Appropriate.  Counter to the numeric sign of Satan.  Two things that came across my screen yesterday that seem unrelated but are very much.  One was an email chain about the American Civil Liberties Union filing suit to eliminate prayer completely from the Armed Services of The United States of America.  The chain turns out to be false as you can read in this conversation.  There are though certainly movements to restrict people from sharing their faith in the Military.  A reasonable general guideline of having complete freedom at religious events and at events where soldiers and sailors are mandated to attend, “command events,” that ecumenical, inclusive terms like “Our Creator” be used.  However there are cases like Army Chaplain Captain Joe Lawhorn’s that are not right.

The second thing that was related to various inappropriate restrictions on honoring our Creator by specific name was an article by a German reporter who was imbedded with ISIS recently.  He quoted one of their fighters as saying, “we will continue to have slavery and beheadings; it is part of our religion.”  Another quote from the article was, “those who do not convert to Islam or pay the Islamic tax will be killed.”

I began some months ago and have done so sporadically to look at the koran to see what I see.  I see a lot that I don’t like.  Here are some verses that do not ring well.  2:191.  2:193.  2:216.  There are some good verses and here is one that I came across this morning.  A verse like 2:291, though, is one that the fighter could be referring to.

So although there are some good directives, the repetitive requirement to kill unbelievers like in 2:191, causes me to find Islam to be a bad program that is not life optimizing.

Father Bob Cole, my pastor at Saint Katherine Drexel in Alton, New Hampshire succinctly summarizes the crystalline shining brilliance of Christ Jesus when he waves the Word of God over his head and with a big grin states that what it is about is the “Love Affair that God has with People.”

The basics is that our Creator likes all people Created and seeks to optimize their opportunity while breathing so as to optimize the opportunity for all of Creation.  Building People up optimally builds up our Amazingly Gorgeous Creation even more Beautifully.  People are the most amazing Creations of our Creator.  Beauty is what I see in the Galaxies and leaves and everywhere in Creation.  Christianity is the only religion that aligns with this reality of a Loving Creator Yearning to Love whom our Creator Created.  Calling for killing is counter to Creation.  Calling for reaching out to those lost and confused is in line with the core kernel to fruit vine of Creation.  Our Creator is Christ who Loves each of us and is not calling for killing.

The Core of Creation is Christ Jesus and the Core of Jesus Christ is the Love  of God for Creation.  When faced with claims like the ISIS fighter in an article whose goal is despair, go in to your core and the Light, Love, and Joy of Jesus, LLJJ.  That is the Real Reality of the Core of Creation and that which lasts for Eternity.  On this Foundation, We Win.  All of All of All of Us.  Each person Created by our Creator.  Not just those saying Allah.

Go In to Win.

Reach out and pray and talk an call to those claiming Allah and share with them how Dearly and Deeply They are Loved by Jesus, God, and The Holy Spirit.  See Romans 12, the whole Chapter.

That’s a Good, Positive, Vital, Program.

I Love You and so does Jesus, God, and The Holy Spirit along with Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, Your Guardian Angel, Saint Therese Lisieux, Saint Francis, and all the other Holy Angels and Holy Saints.
